The Moreton Bay Women's Wellbeing Hub (MBWWH) is a new service for the Moreton Bay Region funded by the Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women. This service will provide tailored, holistic support to women and young women to assist them t achieve better wellbeing.

This service recognises the impact of women's experience of violence and trauma on their health and wellbeing and prioritises support for women and young women who have experienced gender-based violence ( including domestic and family violence or sexual assault).


The Women's Wellbeing Hub does offer:

  • collaborative case support

  • trauma-informed counselling

  • healing and recovery groups

  • advocacy, information and referral

  • workshops on life skills, etc

The Women’s Wellbeing Hub offers a wide range of groups at different locations throughout the Moreton Bay region.  The following groups are on offer throughout the year:


  • DV Women’s Therapeutic Group

  • Brief DFV  Awareness Group

  • The Next Step Group  (Self-Esteem)

  • Craft Tea

  • Living Well (short information sessions on a wide range of topics)
